Ann Arbor resident Kristin Attig honored in Who's Who Among Students for 2014

Kristin Attig of Ann Arbor has received national recognition as an outstanding campus leader for 2014 by the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & CollegesA? program. She is the daughter of Sheridan and Lori Attig.

Attig is one of a select group of 57 seniors from Olivet Nazarene University to accept this prestigious award. More than 2,842 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia participated in nominating their students for this honor.

A youth ministry major, Attig received this honor for her achievements while at Olivet, including: Women’s Residential Life Council; Sister-to-Sister coordinator; volunteer with youth at Kankakee (Ill.) First Church of the Nazarene; LifeSong worship ministry team; resident assistant; served on mission trips to Thailand and Chicago; summer youth ministry intern in Springfield, Mo..

Olivet Nazarene University's campus nominating committee a?" made up of representatives from the faculty, administration and student body a?" selected and nominated her for this award. Criteria for this selection included grade point average, participation and leadership in school activities, community involvement and leadership ability.
