Ashlee Sullivan of Saint John, Indiana, honored as Olivet's 2016 Student Employee of the Year

Olivet Nazarene University selected Ashlee Sullivan, a business administration major from Saint John, Indiana (46373) as its 2016 Student Employee of the Year. She is a member of this year's graduating class.

In nominating Sullivan, her supervisor, Beth Olney, director of The David L. Elwood Center for Student Success at Olivet, said: "Because of her capabilities, Ashlee saved me hours of work. She accomplished all tasks I assigned of her and made a substantial impact on our team. She helped me survive my first year in my new position with the University."

"We are grateful for each of our student workers and their supervisors," said David Pickering, director of business and human resources, during the awards ceremony. "Through these relationships, all of us have the opportunity to learn new things and do our work better."

Nominations for Olivet's awards came from students, staff and faculty members to recognize nominees for attributes, expectations, leadership/style and impact to their department or office. Olivet's awards ceremony also celebrated the value and contribution of Olivet students who worked in the 1,280 student jobs on campus during the 2015-2016 academic year.
