Tiffany Ray of Grandville, Michigan, wins at 2017 NAIA National Championships for women's swimming and diving

Tiffany Ray of Grandville, Michigan (49418), as a member of the Olivet Nazarene University women's swimming and diving team, brought home individual and team honors from the 2017 NAIA National Championships. The team, under the leadership of Head Coach Scott Teeters, now holds the distinction of being National Champions for 2017. This team is just the second team in school history - and the first women's team ever - to achieve program success as NAIA National Champions. Coach Teeters received the 2017 Women's Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year honor.

Ray, a senior majoring in dietetics, earned these significant individual distinctions during the 2017 competition in Columbus, Georgia: Team member, 2017 NAIA Women's Swimming and Diving National Champions; 2017 NAIA National Champion, Women’s 200-Yard Individual Medley (2:05.07); 2017 NAIA National Champion, Women’s 400-Yard Individual Medley (4:25.90).
