Olivet Nazarene University

The Olivet Honors Program is dedicated to encouraging and nurturing academically gifted students in integrating Christian faith and learning.

The Robert M. Milner Honors Award - named for a Nazarene minister who is father and grandfather to several Olivet alumni - goes to a male student who exemplifies the highest standard of excellence in character, scholarship achievement and contribution to extracurricular activities.

Olivet's Maggie Sloan Crawford Honors Award is named for the University's first graduate and goes to a female student who exemplifies the highest standard of excellence in character, scholarship achievement and contribution to extracurricular activities.

Each year, Olivet recognizes one male and one female as outstanding graduates in the graduating class. For 2016, both were also Honors Program graduates. The mission of Olivet's Honors Program is to encourage and nurture academically gifted students, helping them to believe in their possibilities, preparing them to become the Christian scholars and servant leaders they were meant to be.
