Pence-Boyce grants foster mentoring of individual students by Olivet Nazarene University faculty in mathematics, science or engineering research. These grants are sponsored by Olivet alumni who wish to honor two outstanding former faculty members - Elbert Pence and Fanny Boyce - who exemplify integrity, dedication and spirit in pursuit of academic excellence.

Olivet Nazarene University's Pence-Boyce Committee, an alumni group, fosters mentoring of individual students by Olivet faculty in mathematics, science or engineering research. Students apply for research grants, and only a select few receive these grants each year.

Pence-Boyce grants are sponsored by Olivet alumni who wish to honor two outstanding former faculty members who exemplify integrity, dedication and spirit in pursuit of academic excellence.

Daktronics-NAIA scholar-athletes are juniors and seniors with a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. To make the CCAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.25 grade point average with at least 30 semester hours completed.

Olivet Nazarene University's third cohort of Honors Program graduates were part of the Class of 2013 during the 100th Commencement Convocation on Saturday, May 4, 2013. As their time at Olivet came to a close, Honors students from this area were in that cohort and presented their required research projects during Scholar Week 2013, April 15 to 20.

Olivet Nazarene University congratulates those students named to the dean's list during the recently completed fall 2012 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean's list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale. Local residents named to the list are:

Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) recently recognized student-athletes from Olivet Nazarene University for their academic achievements by naming them to the All-Academic Team for fall 2012. To be nominated for this award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his or her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and have earned no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average. Local residents who received this honor are:
