The Wesleyan-Arminian Scholarship at Olivet Nazarene University is provided through a gift from Richard and Deborah (Cowles) Dykhouse. Mia Hurst of Lima, Ohio, is the 2018-2019 recipient of this scholarship. She is a sophomore religion major.

Associated Colleges of Illinois seeks to address critical challenges that private higher education can help solve through collaborations among its member colleges and universities, businesses, nonprofit partners, and public and private funders. Today, ACI programs address two priorities established by the U.S. Department of Education: 1) Improving the outcomes of higher education by raising graduation rates among low-income, minority, and first-generation students; and 2) Reducing college debt by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of higher education and by providing financial aid that makes private higher education affordable to an increasingly diverse student population.

The Maggie Sloan Crawford Award is named for Olivet's first graduate and goes to a female student who exemplifies the highest standard of excellence in character, scholarship achievement and contribution to extracurricular activities.

Each participant in the Sylvanus Carter Homiletics Award competition researches, writes and submits the manuscript of a sermon that he/she has prepared. Selected participants deliver their sermons to an audience. Each sermon is rated on exegesis of scripture, focus and relevance for the audience who will hear it, as well as the participant's delivery of it. Three finalists are chosen to receive scholarships, and one of those is designated as recipient of the award.

This annual national SHRM award competition centers on developing effective solutions to business problems and is open to human resource (HR) students.

Olivet Nazarene University's Pence-Boyce Committee, an alumni group, fosters mentoring of individual students by Olivet faculty in mathematics, science or engineering research. Students apply for research grants, and only a select few receive these grants each year.

The Servant Leadership Award program at Olivet Nazarene University is funded by the David and Ella Elwood Foundation to promote and foster servant leadership in the Olivet community and around the world. Now in its 10th year at Olivet, this award recognizes juniors who demonstrate the qualities of a servant's heart.
