Olivet Nazarene University is an accredited Christian, liberal arts university offering more than 140 areas of undergraduate and graduate study, including the Doctor of Education in ethical leadership. Olivet’s 275-acre main campus is in Bourbonnais, Illinois, 50 miles south of Chicago. Additional sites are in Rolling Meadows and Oak Brook, Illinois; Indianapolis, Indiana; Grand Rapids and Grand Ledge, Michigan; Hong Kong; and more than 100 School of Graduate and Continuing Studies learning locations throughout Chicagoland and the Midwest. From Oxford to Tokyo, hundreds of Olivet students also experience the global classroom each year through study abroad opportunities, internships and worldwide mission trips.

2016 Fall Play, 'A Piece of My Heart'

Three nurses, an intelligence officer, a Red Cross worker and a USO performer tell true stories in "A Piece of My Heart," a two-act dramatic play about women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. This is a production of the theatre program in Olivet's Department of Communication.

2016-2017 Student Body President

Olivet Nazarene University's Student Body President serves as the primary representative of the student body to the various facets of the University and the community at large. He or she is responsible for the faithful execution of all provisions in the Constitution and all rulings of the Associated Student Council (ASC), as well as presiding at all meetings of the ASC Voting Council. He or she also supervises all organizations under the umbrella of ASC.

University-based U.S. Enactus teams spend their year turning ideas into action as they work to increase the livelihoods of others and develop a head for business and a heart for the world. During competition, each of these teams has 17 minutes to showcase their entrepreneurial projects that are not only making a difference in the world today, but have the momentum to create new careers and spark business innovation and social enterprise.

2016 Sylvanus Carter Homiletics Award

Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Carter established the Sylvanus Carter Homiletics Award in honor of Stephen's father, Rev. Sylvanus Carter, a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene for 56 years. The award competition involves researching, writing and preparing the manuscript for a sermon. The award recipient presents the sermon before an audience of students and professors.

This award celebrates the value and contribution of Olivet Nazarene University students who worked in the 1,280 student jobs on campus during the 2015-2016 academic year. 2016 Servant Leadership Award

The Servant Leadership Award program at Olivet Nazarene University is funded by the David and Ella Elwood Foundation to promote and foster servant leadership in the Olivet community and around the world. The honor recognizes juniors who demonstrate the qualities of a servant's heart. As part of the award, each recipient receives a cash award, a part of which is donated to the charity of his or her choice.

Daktronics-NAIA scholar-athletes are juniors and seniors with a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. To make the CCAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.25 grade point average with at least 30 semester hours completed.
